About Us
Our Story and Mission
RadiantCare Radiation Oncology opened the Lacey clinic in June 2004 to provide comprehensive, state-of-the-art radiation therapy services in the South Puget Sound region. Extending coverage to the coast and Olympic Peninsula, the Aberdeen clinic opened in June 2007. The Centralia clinic opened in June 2009, bringing care to patients in Southwest Washington.
The RadiantCare team includes physicians, a practice manager, and billing specialists. We work as part of a larger team of patient care coordinators, nurses, radiation therapists, medical dosimetrists and medical physicists, all focused on providing exceptional, compassionate cancer care. Our practice philosophy is reflected in our mission statement: “Excellence in patient care is our commitment. We strive to provide a supportive atmosphere of compassion, dignity and hope for our patients, their families, and our community.”

To us, these are not just words, but the core of the mission that drives everything we do at RadiantCare. Cancer treatment is a complex endeavor requiring good judgment and hard-won skill. But this is not enough. At RadiantCare, we strive for excellence—from the technical details of radiation treatment to the compassionate and dignified care we give to every patient. We treat people the way we would want to be treated, communicating the plan clearly, always striving to improve outcomes and giving patients hope in the face of a difficult diagnosis.

Haleigh A. Werner, MD
Dr. Werner attended the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington, and earned her medical degree from University of Washington School of Medicine. She completed her postgraduate training at the University of Vermont. She was certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in 1998 and was employed by an Internal Medicine group in Eugene, Oregon, until June 2002 when she returned to the University of Washington Medical Center to enter the Radiation Oncology residency program. She completed that program and joined RadiantCare in 2006. She was certified by the American Board of Radiology in Therapeutic Radiology in 2007. Her professional affiliations include the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, the Washington State Medical Association and Thurston-Mason County Medical Society. She is on staff at Providence St. Peter Hospital, Providence Centralia Hospital and Grays Harbor Community Hospital.
Gregory W. Allen, MD, PhD
Dr. Allen attended Walla Walla College, receiving a bachelor of science in bioengineering. He earned a combined medical degree and doctorate in physiology from Loma Linda University. He completed an internship in General Surgery at Loma Linda University and a residency in Radiation Oncology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He joined RadiantCare in 2007 and was certified by the American Board of Radiology in Therapeutic Radiology in 2008. In the clinic, he sees himself as an educator, helping patients understand their treatment options and finding an approach that meets their goals. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. His diverse interests include computer programming, photography, running and mountaineering.
Justin W. Suszko, MD
Dr. Suszko attended Duke University for his undergraduate studies and earned his medical degree from the University of Nevada in Reno. He first completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. He followed this with residency training in Radiation Oncology at the University of Arizona in Tucson, where he was Chief Resident. He is board certified in both specialties. He joined our staff in July 2018. He is a member of the American Board of Radiology, American Society of Therapeutic Radiation Oncology, the Washington State Medical Association, and Thurston-Mason County Medical Society. He is on staff at Providence St. Peter Hospital, Providence Centralia Hospital, and Grays Harbor Community Hospital.

He completed an internship at the University of California Irvine and residency at the University of California San Diego. He joined RadiantCare and was certified by the American Board of Radiology in 2023. Outside of work he enjoys running, hiking, and spending time with his wife, daughter, and dog.
